The word "nigger" is temporarily unbanned, as a trial, to see how it goes.
It was originally banned because it started too much drama, hopefully that doesn't happen again.

That being said, remain respectful of fellow clanmates. Don't use the word to start drama or aggravate people. You can still be kicked for using the word if any mods think you're being a little bitch about it.

The leaders recently decided to ban the word "nigger" from clan chat (and following that I banned it on discord since it's a clan-endorsed discord) I banned it without giving much reason cause I figured it wouldn't be the most questioned thing but it's getting some backlash so I'll go into it.

The word was previously "banned" because people just sorta agreed to not say it and it slipped occasionally. And then discord came out and on voice chat people throw the word like every other 4 words which is fine cause nobody on discord at the time was really offended by it anyway.

But the reason it was banned is because when you start to use the word regularly, or even if you don't use it, if you start to hear it regularly you kinda get desensitized to it and it becomes a very regular thing. Like since discord voice chat started popping, nigger got thrown around so much that it slowly crept back into the cc when many cc members didn't like it and caused more bullshit problems and whatever.

Also, just because currently nobody in the discord is offended by the word, doesn't mean nobody who is offended by the word won't eventually join the discord. I don't want somebody to first time join the discord and just see like 8 people all screaming the word and be put off by the cc.

In the end the leaders are the leaders so if you disagree get fucking rekt but in all seriousness, any discussion on the topic is open and welcome.

Alright, gaebot's got a new feature! He's got a markov chain algorithm, which is an algorithm that's meant to simulate and generate randomized sentences based on word frequency and order. So it just runs in the background recording data and shit, and generates stupid shit. I just took some previews, you can do !markov to try it out.
